One of Rutger’s many impressive lacrosse practice fields.

Despite the terrible circumstances caused by Sandy that have beset the New Jersey/New York areas, nothing can stop kids who are passionate about the game of lacrosse. We traveled to both the D1 Experience Fall Shootout held at Rutgers University, and the University of Maryland Fall Terrapin Classic, held in the Annapolis, Maryland area.

Elite teams of freshmen, sophomores, and junior lacrosse players from Long Island, New Jersey, Philadelphia, California, Virginia, and Maryland were in attendance, playing in front of Division I lacrosse scouts. From field to field, the next generation of college lacrosse players were putting on an impressive show as always. We were in attendance to film the Long Island Express as they played in seven games over a two day period against the country’s best club lacrosse teams.

Over the next few days, we will be putting together game footage from the tournaments into a few highlight videos that we’ll post on our YouTube Channel, check it out. All footage from these games is available.
