Roanoke College is a great school with students from all over the world. From small-town Virginia, to Columbia, students come to Salem, Virginia to join the College community and grow as people. As a part of the orientation weekend, the President of the college gives a speech that is accompanied by a video. We worked with Student Affairs to find great student examples for the video and then spend a lot of time with students, talking with them about their personal experiences. We traveled throughout Virginia in film in multiple locations. In the past, the students would have semi-scripted lines, but we sold the College on our ability to craft a video narrative by simply letting the truth tell the story.
